"it's only rock and roll and roll, it'll never save your soul. what's it to you?"

dan said that i only post 1.5 sentences per entrie, which is basicly true.

so here is what is up with myself. at the end of the month i am moving to oregon. eugene to be exact. it's about two hours south of portland. i am going to bible school and taking a one year bible certificate program. who knows how long i'll be there. one term, a year, 4 years, the rest of my life? (doubt it). my future is completely up in the air at this point, but this is something that i want to do right now, er, i feel like i should do. this "bible certificate" is nothing to help me in my professional life, just something else to focus on for a bit, seeing that i think there is more to life than just working and playing rock and roll and having fun. so my focus will be the bible and christ. which it always is, but out there, at that school, it will be even more so. like saturation.

i have my asociates degree in professional photography and my portfolio. i am set to start out in commercial photograpy. and actually, a job position just opened in des moines a couple weeks ago. it's exactly what i "should" be doing right now, and i would most likely get the job if i were staying here. but you know... oregon.

i am playing drums in a band called general sherman. we play piano driven indie pop songs. we are in the process of recording a cd. luke pettipoole and scott yoshimura(the envy corps) are recording us, and at no cost. these guys are really good. i can't express how ecstatic i am to be recording right now, and how thankful i am that luke and scott are doing it for free. the only stinky thing is the fact that i will be leaving in the middle of recording/mixing, but we got all the drum tracks done this weekend. we will probably release an ep sometime this spring. adrian's brother is playing drums while i am gone.

there is a scouting agent from warner brothers records that wants to hear us. seriously, like not joking. she is friends with dana's(guitar player) mom. that part is surreal. it could be nothing, but it could be something big.

those are the big things. besides that, it's working at handimart, working at the coffee shop, playing halo, and trying to figure stuff out.

thanks for being interested.
