the trip was great, but somehow, today blew it out of the water. it was rainy, and leafy, and it smelled like fall, like iowa fall. and we had a fire in the fireplace. driving home the sky had a glow that i never saw in oregon, a broad, burning orange.

i'll miss it here.

and the honesty and friends and family that i felt today was wonderful. it was conflict/resolution, or something like that.

and we watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. marvelous.

p.s. i love reading the iowa city people journals. i miss all you guys.
